Clipjar stores your clipboard data locally on your device. Nothing is ever transmitted to any server. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking.
Clipjar saves text you copy to your clipboard: the content, a timestamp, the source page title and URL, and a content type (text, URL, email, code, etc.). This data is stored in your browser's IndexedDB, a local database that only the extension can access.
No data is uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere.
Clipjar stores up to a configurable maximum of clips (default: 1000). Older clips are automatically deleted when the limit is reached. You can clear all data at any time from the extension popup or from Settings.
None. Clipjar does not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting, or services of any kind. There are no external network requests.
Clipjar does not knowingly collect data from or target anyone under 13. Because all data is local only, no personal data is collected from anyone.
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published here with a new date. The current policy always reflects how the current version of the extension behaves.
